Note: Sleeves are worked in the round. Use your favorite small circumference knitting needles and method.

Place 38 (42, 46, 46, 50, 52, 56) held sleeve sts back on needles to work in the rnd. With CC1, CO 1 (1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3) sts, pm, CO 1 (1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3) sts—40 (44, 48, 50, 54, 58, 62) sts. Knit to m.

With CC1, work 4 rnds of Round St st. Break CC1.

With MC, work 2 rnds of Round Slip Stitch.

With MC, work 2 rnds of Round St st.

Dec Rnd: K1, k2tog, knit to last 3 sts, ssk, k1—2 sts dec’d.

Cont in Round St st, rep Dec Rnd every 8 (8, 6, 6, 6, 6, 4)th round 5 (6, 7, 7, 9, 10, 12) times more—28 (30, 32, 34, 34, 36, 36) sts.

Cont in Round St st until sleeve measures 13.5 (14, 14.5, 15, 15.5, 16, 16.5) in. / 34.5 (35.5, 37, 38, 39.5, 40.5, 42) cm, or approximately 3 in. / 7.5 cm less than desired sleeve length. Work Cuff Edging Rounds as follows:

Rnd 1: With MC, knit.

Rnd 2: With MC, purl.

Rnd 3: With CC1, knit.

Rnd 4: With CC1, purl.

Rnds 5–6: Rep Rnds 1–2.

Rnd 7: With CC2, knit.

Rnd 8: With CC2, purl.

Rnds 9–10: Rep Rnds 1–2.

Rnd 11: With CC3, knit.

Rnd 12: With CC3, purl.

Rnds 13–14: Rep Rnds 1–2.

BO all sts loosely.

Rep for second sleeve.
